Is the 0% commission on direct bookings really permanent?+
Yes, always. When a guest books through your KwaWingu-powered website or booking widget, you keep 100% of the booking value. There are no transaction fees, no per-booking charges, and no hidden commissions — ever. OTA bookings still carry whatever commission that OTA charges you directly.
Can I pay for my subscription with M-Pesa or mobile money?+
Yes. KwaWingu is built for East Africa. You can pay for your subscription using M-Pesa, Airtel Money, Mixx by Yas, or Halotel via USSD push — or use a Visa or Mastercard. Payments are processed in TZS.
How does the 14-day free trial work?+
Sign up and get full access to the platform for 14 days — no credit card required. At the end of the trial, choose the plan that fits your business and start your subscription. If you decide not to continue, your account simply deactivates — and you can export your data at any time.
Can I cancel at any time?+
Yes. There are no lock-in contracts. Cancel monthly plans at any time and your access continues until the end of the billing period. Annual plans are non-refundable but can be cancelled to prevent renewal.
What happens to my data if I cancel?+
Your data stays yours. You can export all your bookings, guest data, and financial records as CSV at any time before you cancel. After cancellation, data is removed in line with our GDPR-compliant data retention policy (see tours.kwawingu.com/legal/gdpr).
Does KwaWingu connect to Viator and GetYourGuide?+
Yes. The Growth and Professional plans include OTA Distribution with connections to Viator, GetYourGuide, Klook, Expedia Activities, Musement, Civitatis, and more. Availability syncs in real time — a booking on any channel updates seat counts everywhere instantly.
How long does setup take?+
Most operators complete their first product setup and connect their OTA accounts in under 30 minutes. Our onboarding flow guides you step by step. Professional plan customers get a dedicated onboarding specialist for a guided setup session.
